If you’ve followed our blog for any length of time, you’ve heard plenty from us. We’ve talked about our world, the writing process, how much we love being a husband-wife author team, some aspects of our world-building…we even did a top 10 fantasy series post, which earned us a lot of great feedback! So when I sat down to decide what to write about this week, I was honestly craving a little of that same magic! Give us your energy! (*desperate wheezing cough*)
So this week’s blog post is all about you, dear readers! And the way we’re doing it is in the form of a contest. Here’s how it works:
1. You help us with ideas for future blog posts by posing great questions. Submit them wherever you like: in the comments below, or in the comments within the social media post that led you here.
2. We pick the top five questions, each of which will be answered in a future post, with credit given to the person or group who submitted the question.
3. Additionally, the individuals whose questions are selected will receive, absolutely free, a paperback book from our Storm’s Rising series, signed and personalized by both authors, and mailed to you at no expense. You pick the book!
4. The contest will be open for one week, through midnight of Monday, March 7 (Pacific Standard Time).
Only a couple of parameters we will ask regarding the questions submitted:
1. No politics or social issues.
2. No super-personal questions or topics that could be offensive to others.
Our goal is to bring people together in our mutual love for the fantasy genre and for reading and writing in general. We reserve the right to select the best questions based on their potential to uplift and support that goal, and be a pleasing reading experience for everyone. That’s it! So fire up those creative engines and start lobbing those questions our way!
